WE LOVE OUR MONROE COMMUNITY

My name is Larry Dorow and along with my wife, Pamela, we are the proud owners of Buscemi’s Pizza in Monroe. Thank you for taking the time to read about my family!

Pamela and I are both proud Monroe natives — born and raised here, both graduates of Monroe High School and Monroe County Community College. We love our community here in Monroe and that shows in everything we do — from our work, to our volunteering, to our extracurricular activities.

I have owned Buscemi’s Monroe since 2010, but I have actually worked at Buscemi’s since 2002. My wife is a Registered Nurse at Promedica of Monroe, where she loves taking care of members of our community. Our family belongs to St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Maybee.

Pamela and I have 2 sons, Landen and Logan, who are both members of the Jefferson Bear family. My sons participate in all sorts of activities ranging from football to Robotics Club. I am a volunteer coach for the Jr. Bears football program.  I’m also a member of Light The Fire Crossfit and the Runhip Running Club of Monroe.

Staying active and healthy is my biggest passion, other than pizza of course! We love to donate our time and money to local schools and churches. We’ve sponsored all types of school programs in the area and have pitched in to help out with Habitat for Humanity, 4-H, Boy Scouts, and so much more.

We are proud of our hometown of Monroe and truly want to see it thrive. That is the idea that drives us every day. Our Buscemi’s Monroe employees and customers are so much more to us than that — they are our neighbors, our friends, and our family.
